Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarm Wax.

Most clients enjoy hair-free underarms for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and personal hormones. Regular waxing can lead to finer regrowth. We recommend scheduling every four weeks initially to determine ideal timing for your needs.

You may feel brief discomfort during waxing, but pain is usually short-lived. Our technicians use high-quality wax and calming techniques to reduce sensation, and topical soothing treatments are applied after. Most clients prefer it to constant nicks and daily irritation from shaving.

Ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long (roughly two weeks growth). Avoid heavy deodorants or creams before your visit. Exfoliate gently 48 hours prior and skip retinol or strong chemical treatments a few days before to reduce sensitivity.

We recommend waiting at least 12–24 hours before applying deodorant to avoid irritation. If necessary, use an unscented, gentle formula. Our post-wax soothing products help protect skin; follow aftercare guidance for best healing and comfort.

Certain conditions like open wounds, sunburn, severe eczema, or recent Botox in the area may prevent waxing. Inform your technician of medications, skin treatments, or medical issues. We'll assess suitability and offer safe alternatives if waxing isn't advised.

Regular gentle exfoliation with a soft scrub or chemical exfoliant helps prevent ingrown hairs. Keep the area moisturized with non-comedogenic products, avoid tight clothing for 24 hours, and schedule routine waxes to promote consistent growth patterns and prevent follicle issues.
