Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Brow Wax.

Hair should be at least a quarter-inch long (about two to three weeks growth). Too-short hair won’t adhere to wax; very long hair can increase discomfort. We trim if needed before waxing to ensure optimal results.

Mild redness or sensitivity is common for a few hours after waxing but typically subsides quickly. We use soothing gels and post-care guidelines to calm skin and prevent irritation. Avoid sun and harsh products for 24–48 hours.

Most clients return every three to six weeks depending on hair growth and desired shape maintenance. We recommend a personalized schedule during your visit to keep brows consistently groomed and flattering between appointments.

Topical retinoids and some acne medications increase sensitivity and risk of skin damage during waxing. Stop retinol or strong exfoliants at least seven days before appointment and disclose all products so we can assess safety and adjust treatment.

Waxing removes multiple hairs quickly for a clean, defined shape, while tweezing offers precision for minor corrections and threading suits fine hair control. Your desired look, hair type, and sensitivity determine the best method; we can recommend the ideal approach.

Avoid hot showers, heavy workouts, saunas, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Keep the area clean, apply a calming gel or aloe, and skip makeup on brows for at least 12 hours to reduce irritation and prevent breakouts.
