Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound energy to reach deep skin layers and the foundational SMAS tissue, stimulating collagen production. Over weeks to months collagen remodels, gradually lifting and tightening skin without incisions, providing natural-looking improvement with minimal downtime.
Ultherapy is FDA-cleared and suitable for most skin types and tones. We evaluate medical history and skin condition during consultation; certain conditions or implants may preclude treatment. Unlike lasers, ultrasound doesn’t target pigment, reducing risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Expect a consultation, treatment mapping and a session lasting about 30–90 minutes depending on areas treated. You may feel mild to moderate discomfort as energy is delivered; topical numbing and breaks help. No surgery required and you can usually resume normal activities.
